Our courses for both children and adult members are all about learning new skills, making progress and developing confidence whilst on the water.

But most of all, they are just good fun!

The courses cover both kayak and canoe skills and all levels of ability and are guided by British Canoeing paddling awards. For more information on these, visit British Canoeing and Go Paddling websites.

They are led by coaches with all the required skills and safety qualifications.

In our boathouse at Bungay Staithe, there is a good range of kayaks and canoes to choose from plus all the other equipment such as buoyancy aids and paddles to suit everyone. Or you are welcome to bring your own gear. Just remember to bring a towel and a change of clothes – changing rooms and toilets are available.

The courses are usually made available March/April time and start end of April/May, running for 6 to 12 weeks. You just need to make sure your membership subscription is up to date before you register yourself onto a course.

If you have recently attended a taster session or applied to join the club, they may be a short delay until you are able to book onto a course. New applications for membership to the club will need to be approved before you are sent a payment request or can book courses. This normally only takes a couple of days, but occasionally can take a little longer. If you have been waiting longer than a few days, please email the membership secretary on  waveneyvalleycanoemembership@gmail.com

Just follow the links below to pay your subscription and/or register on a course.
