Welcome to the Waveney Valley Canoe Club Web Site
We are a friendly canoe club based in excellent facilities at the Bungay Riverside Centre. Our clubhouse is on the beautiful River Waveney, which marks the border between Suffolk and Norfolk.
We offer opportunities for beginners and experienced paddlers to develop their skills in a very safe, sociable environment. We run a range of courses for our members, across a range of experience.
Our Club has existed for over sixty years and currently has over 100 members, made up of family groups, and individuals.
We are located at the Riverside Centre, Bungay Staithe, where we have a well-stocked boat shed with a variety of modern canoes, kayaks, paddles and safety equipment. This is available to all members, allowing you to participate without the need to invest in equipment. There are also male and female changing rooms equipped with showers, with toilets outside the changing areas.
